Meeting Description

Who

EVERYONE interested in learning more about the Fair Tax, how it will affect you, and what effects it will have on the economy.

Why

We have SERIOUS economic problems in this country, MOST of them FAR greater than this current downturn we're in, and MOST of the problems are a direct result of the current oppressive, and unmanageable income tax system. WE MUST MAKE THIS CHANGE!

Organized by

"I'll have signs outside and inside so the meeting place will be easy to find. Everybody will need to use the front door on Main Street. Summerville Elementary School is the one story building next to Rollins School of the Arts, a 2 story building."

Details

Fair Tax Summerville Website

At this meeting we will discuss the Fair Tax and things we can do to promote it's passage.
This is the perfect opportunity for you to bring Friends, Family, Co-Workers, Church members, Neighbors, local politicians, etc. to help them become educated on the the details of the Fair Tax.
We will allow a time for any questions that might come up and for those interested in helping to promote and further the cause of the Fair Tax we will be discussing ideas and plans for those types of events and activities.

As American's we MUST do something to address the disastrous issues that we face in the very near future. The Fair Tax is the largest, most well thought out and researched plan currently promoted and considered by politicians. The issues we face are too large and risky for the current gutless breed of politicians to take on REAL solutions, so we force them to do it by becoming educated on the subject at hand and then requiring them...with our votes....to make the necessary changes.

"This was an OUTSTANDING meeting and a tremendous opportunity to let the political candidates present know that the Fair Tax movement is not only gaining momentum but has become an issue that CANNOT be ignored. Candidates and office holders alike are starting to realize that they will have to seriously consider all aspects of the Fair Tax plan and make a choice to stand with us ...or against us. This meeting tonight helped us make a Loud and Clear statement that we are not going away and that the Fair Tax is something that the People of this country want...and are going to forcefully DEMAND with their votes in the coming elections. "

"We were able to hear presentations from 4 candidates for State and local office, three of whom are supporters of the FairTax and the fourth is studying the FairTax Concept and is inclined to support it. A Fifth candidate stopped by and spoke to supporters individually, and stayed for part of the meeting before leaving for another commitment. He is interested in learning more about the concept."

"This was a great meeting. Nobody wanted to go home! It was a great success, The candidates saw that we are serious and won't stop until the the Fair Tax becomes a reality, and we let them know that we will be behind them if they support the Fair Tax."

"It was difficult to see the numerical information on the board. Maybe it would be better to use a black marker...thanks."
